Christmas Gifts for Pet Lovers That Aren't Another Ornament

Paw print ornaments, "I love my dog" socks, a calendar of someone else's cat: pet lovers get a lot of these at Christmas. If you want your gift to stand out this year, build it around the one thing they love most, their own pet.

Gift ideas built around their pet

Their pet's portrait

A portrait drawn from a favorite photo is personal in a way a store-bought gift can't be. It can be framed, printed on a blanket, or engraved.

A family game with their pet on every piece

Christmas is when families sit down to play. Our pet portrait rummy tiles put their dog or cat on all 106 tiles: send us one photo and we turn it into a fine line portrait, with the pet's name if you like. It comes out on game night all year, not just in December.

A photo session with their pet

A gift card for a local pet photographer gives them photos they'll treasure, and the session itself is a fun day out.

Something for the pet, chosen for the owner

An engraved name tag, a cozy bed in their home colors, or a personalized treat jar is a gift for the pet that the owner will enjoy every day.

A gift in memory

If they lost a pet this year, the holidays can be hard. A gentle keepsake with the pet's name or face lets them know you remember. Our pet memorial gift ideas have more suggestions.

Order personalized gifts early

Anything made from a photo takes a little longer than a gift from the shelf. Our tiles are made to order and we can send a proof before engraving, so order early in the season to leave time for both.
